Yes, you can use Apple Account balance for iCloud+ on an eligible UAE Apple Account. Before buying a gift card to cover a renewal, check the plan price, the balance on the account that pays for it, and whether Apple still requires a payment method on file.
King Gift’s Apple Gift Card UAE is listed for UAE App Store and iTunes use. Match the card to the account that pays for the storage plan, even if someone else is buying the card.
Find the Apple Account that pays for iCloud+
Open your iCloud settings and check your current storage plan. If you use shared storage, first establish who pays for it. Adding credit to a family member’s account does not add credit to the account paying for the plan. If you’re buying for someone else, ask them to confirm the billing account’s country or region before ordering.
Apple’s UAE guide to Apple Account balance lists iCloud+ among the subscriptions that can use it. Check that the card is redeemable to Apple Account balance: Apple’s UAE payment guide distinguishes redeemable cards from Apple Store Gift Cards that cannot fund iCloud+.
Choose an amount based on the renewal
Compare your existing balance with the next charge shown by Apple, in the same currency. For example, if the charge shown on your account were AED 20 and your available balance were AED 12, the difference would be AED 8. That is an illustration, not a plan price or an available card denomination. If the smallest available card is larger than the gap, only buy it if you expect to use the remaining value.
Before paying King Gift, check the selected AED face value and the final checkout amount separately. Buying a code and redeeming it are separate steps. A paid order does not put credit into your Apple Account by itself.
Redeem and check the balance before renewal
- Confirm that you are signed in to the intended UAE Apple Account.
- Use Apple’s gift card redemption instructions to add the code.
- Check the available Apple Account balance and confirm your upcoming plan charge. Leave room for other eligible Apple charges that could draw from the same balance.
- If Apple requests a payment method or flags a billing problem, follow the instructions on the account rather than buying another code immediately.

Avoid these common mistakes
| Mistake | What to check instead |
|---|---|
| Choosing the card based on where you live | Match it to the billing account’s country or region. |
| Redeeming to the account of someone who shares the storage | Identify who pays before redeeming. |
| Buying more credit after a billing error | Check the error, balance and payment requirements first. |
Frequently asked questions
Can I use a US Apple code on a UAE Apple Account?
Choose a card that matches the account region. Buying from abroad does not change which region a code is issued for.
Do I need to buy a gift card every month?
Check the available balance before each renewal. There is no need to buy more solely for iCloud+ if the account already has enough eligible credit and meets Apple’s billing requirements.
Does redeeming the card upgrade my storage?
No. It adds account balance. Select or manage the storage plan separately in iCloud settings.
Who can help if my renewal still fails?
Contact Apple for account billing or iCloud+ issues. Contact King Gift if there is a problem with the supplied code, and keep the full code private.
